One watches this and makes assumptions it’s about to go in the same direction these types of movies have all gone - far from it.  Wowzers, such an amazing, beautiful film.

(Updated: Wait. Whut? Just read that the director Duncan Jones is David Bowie’s son and this film was his directorial debut.  Looks like he had a better kickoff than his father did.)
